Mini-Symposia

The deadline for submission of mini-symposia proposals already passed. If you are still interested in submitting a proposal for a mini-symposium, please register yourself onto the system and send the following information to office@eccomas2012.conf.tuwien.ac.at:

  • title of mini-symposium
  • brief description of aim of mini-symposium
  • (co-)organisers with affiliations and email addresses
  • special-interest mini-symposium  

 

It is requested that the co-organisers of mini-symposia have different affiliations. You do not have to provide a list of potential speakers.

 

A mini-symposium consists of one or more sessions of 6 time slots each (one time slot equals to 20 min. incl. discussion). Within mini-symposia of more than two sessions two keynote-lectures equal to a total of three time slots can be assigned. The (co-)organisers of the mini-symposia are responsible for the scientific content. They invite participants and review the submitted abstracts. The required online management tools will be provided by the congress organisers.

 

Special interest mini-symposia of ECCOMAS committees

Following the proposal of the chairs of the ECCOMAS committees, it is possible to organise a mini-symposium as special-interest mini-symposium of one of the ECCOMAS committees.
