Advanced computational methods play an increasingly important role in control theory and control systems engineering. Besides efficient design methods, hard real-time constraints arising in many practical applications inevitably require the use of tailored computational methods. Therefore, this minisymposium will cover recent computational techniques used in distributed control, model predictive control, dynamic optimization, and state estimation.
